The DTI Extreme Duty has a 16" hammer forged CMV chrome lined barrel with 1x7 twist, M4 mil-spec stock, M4 handguards with double heat shields, and A2 flash hider. The Extreme Duty also features Samson Dual Aperture rear folding sight. The rifle also comes with 1 x 30rd magazine and a CA approved Gun Lock. Ships with a Chamber Safety Tool in the chamber, showing clearly the weapon is unloaded.
This rifle is not available in CA, HI, NY, NJ, MD, & MA due to local state guns laws.

Zeroed it out and it was perfect from 1st shot. On a bench 5 shots touching at 200; usually 4 shots counted. Very accurate rifle. I’ve installed a Burris scope, topped with a Burris red dot sighted in at 50. That makes very fast close range off hand target acquisition with 1” bullseyes easy. I can remove sights quickly and use perfect iron sights if need be. Love my DelTon. I was a Marine rifle range instructor.

Got back from a local indoor range tonight. Ran over 250 + rounds. Flawless. Didn't have a single mis-feed or fire. Very comfortable to shoot, one of the best rifles I have ever shot actually.  Still need to do some sight adjustment, but I would very highly recommend this model to anyone considering an AR. Look forward to shooting this on a regular basis.

I looked for almost a year before I got my Extreme 316. There are so many companies and models to choose from. My choice was this because of reviews and the fact that the factory is less than 50 miles from my house. I searched for a dealer and found one right there in E-town, Bladen Hardware. I called and they were so helpful. They didn't have the ar in stock but got it for me the next day. Didn't fire it all summer been busy and I hate hot weather but now that it's cooling off I'm gonna shoot it every weekend. I really like buying it from a local dealer and having Del-ton right down the street makes it all good.

Excellent rifle. About 1000 rounds through mine at this point, ZERO MALFUNCTION of any kind big or small. I wanted to give this thing a 4.8 out of 5 because it comes with a semi auto carrier but that's no big deal. Plus that rounds up to a 5 :)

I bought this rifle based on Del-Ton's reputation.  I wanted a 16" mil-spec rifle, and I got one.  Has been high quality, very accurate, and in the thousand rounds I've put through it, not a single failure.  I abuse it - don't clean it often, rapid fire often, in the rain and mud.   No problems.  I'm a weekend warrior, but I have no problems with the functionality of it.  It got 4 stars because the bolt carrier is semi-auto and the front handguard cap came loose: no effect on function, but the quad rail installed wobbled a little - it was an easy fix.  Overall as good as my BCM with the exception of the handguard issue at a much lower price.  Well worth it.
