Shipping was quick. Inspected the barrel inside and out. Looks good to me. Moly lubed receiver threads and did the tighten, loosen, ritual several times, increasing torque gradually. Then fnal torque.
Mounted M16A1 originL handguards to my C7 upper. Installed A2 front sight and adjusted for prezero the 11 clicks up after flush seating of front sight post base, to A frame.
Only thing I noted, was the difference in weight from an original M16A1 barrel's weight. 1.11oz, compared to 2.33oz. Can't complain really. The weight is where it should be, which is in the chamber area and in back of the sight block, unlike in front of front sight frame w/gov'ment barrel.
Personally I hate the Government profile. Even Eugene Stoner commented on their stupidity, of weighting down the front of the barrel. So much for military intelligence and the officers wisdom!

Too windy lately, I'll wait it out for a better day to test fire my clone of what I carried many years ago.

I now have 4 20" del-ton barrels and ive been impressed with all of them. Im so glad someone still makes pencil FSB barrels for us "retro" guys!

Doing a retro (604) build, within 72 hours of ordering it, I had it in my hands. The quality is pretty dang good, FSB was straight, finish is consistent with what I saw in the military (Perfect for my needs). I'm making a military style rifle, not a show piece. Couldn't be more pleased. No debris found in the barrel, like I've seen from  other companies.
