Made by YHM these are the latest free floating forearms . These unique forearms feature diamond shaped heat vents, an extended top rail for gap-free installation, “T” marked rails to mark accessory locations, and anti-rotation screws for secure installation. Made of aluminum and hard coat annodized.

Great handguards at great prices, but only after buggering up the soft aluminum barrel nut did I realize that YHM apparently uses slightly non-standard spacing on the holes in its nut. I tried two different AR wrenches and with neither would the pins line up properly to turn the YHM nut. I honestly can't believe YHM would change this spacing just in order to sell a $30 tool, but that seems to be the case. The handguards are quality products at a great price, but I've dropped my rating to 3 stars simply because of this wrench hassle. Del-Ton would be doing its customers a big favor by making this issue clear in the description for every YHM handguard.

i installed this handgaurd on my spikes tactical upper and it lines up great.  It gives my upper a really aggressive look. i recommend this product to people wanting to upgrade their AR 15
