Just to give you some advice I built several dissipators from several different companies, being that that's a 16-in carbine I don't know if it's a mid-length gas system or a carbine length. Colt Dissipator was originally built with an a2 stock and a rifle length buffer. Those things will run like scalded dogs. if you're still having problems get online go to Odin works and get their buffer system which comes with different weights. They actually have a carbine size buffer system that you can make it the weight of a rifle length buffer. Then if you can go online go to Wolf spring kit and get a extractor spring kit it comes with the blue tab and a donut put it in there because short rifles run extremely hard. A lot of the full auto bolts that come are set up for M16 length instead of carbine.

Ordered a Dissiptor kit from Del-ton hoping to avoid cycling issues by using their BCG and Spring/Buffer combo. Out of the box the upper failed to cycle all ammo. Each round would “short stroke” and was incapable of locking the bolt back. Firing required manually cycling via the charging handle. Contacted Delt-ton to resolve the issue and I was passed off to a form on their website and was never contacted.  Cycling issues persisted with several spring and buffer combinations. I opted to remove the front sight post/gas block and found that the gas-port was well under the advertised dimension, it was drilled in error. Let down with the purchase and customer support.

I have always wanted a Dissipator rifle. I used a Anderson lower and the lower parts kit went together extremely well. Looks awesome! Thank you Del-Ton.
