4 of 5 best bang for the buck, but quality so-so February 12, 2012

Have had it for 2 years and about 2000 rds now. Shopped around quite a bit. These were the best price in the A2/CAR/M4barrel config. Was listed as "in stock", but took 4 weeks to arrive as they said they were behind on filling orders. Quality is good, not great. Appearance almost seems like it may have been re-finished or sand-blasted to look new. Rear sight isn't exactly set at 90 degrees either. But overall still a good deal. No malfunctions the most important part.

My 2nd upper from DTI, and absolutely the best AR Upper I own...and to the fellow giving negative comment about it without even owning one...jeez...You review something you have used...not on the way it's listed. Del-Ton's folks are the nicest quickest to respond AR sellers in the market...if you don't understand what you're reading...CALL THEM...They custom built this one for me...CL barrel, YHM Phantom muzzle brake...as accurate as the day is long and it's JULY baby!!! A+A+A+

Hey anonymous - why the poor review if you haven't bought anything? These uppers are indeed 5.56 (a simple call to customer service is all that is needed if you can't figure it out). Del-Ton branded products are of the highest quality and the best value on the market. I have built (5) AR's and these are 100% in regards to fit, function and reliability. Folks, ignore the poor rating and comments of the uninformed and if you have any questions - contact the Del-Ton reps who are knowledgeable and helpful.

The quality of these uppers are the best. At first I was worried about the quality because the price was soo low and you usually get what you pay for but not with these. It functions flawlessly, is super accurate and was even already sighted in. The packaging was also first rate. The upper was covered in oil in a plastic bag and packed with a bunch of padding. I have received parts from other companies in the past that ship them dry and most show up rusty. I highly recommend these uppers and you probably won't find a better price since I looked all over and was glad I found this website.
