Del-Ton Sierra 316 Moe April 4, 2015 Reviewer: Road less taken from Hendersonville, NC United States   Well its been three months since I purchased this rifle. So far I have been able to put 1500+ rounds down range. First parts I installed was a Magpul mbus pro rear sight. Then a magpul angled fore grip 2. With this setup I shot around 750 rounds without a problem. But... Here is the only problem I've had. After I put on an Eotech 512, which had nothing to do with this issue, I started having extraction issues. Long story short(turned out to be the extractor spring). This rifle is is the BEST most accurate out of the box ar I own. Needless to say I am currently stripping my S&W MP15T, again, because this Del-Ton rocked its world. Thank you Del-Ton for making me a believer in the fact a person can get more for what they pay. And to those who read this review. Dont let your buds pressure you into a rifle. My friends that tried to talk me away from this purchase (towards Colt and DPMS) and are jealous my $800 ar is keeping up with their $1800+ custom builds. And $ left over for Eotech. Great Accuracy, Excellent Value September 20, 2014 Reviewer: john nichols from cumming, GA United States   I've had my FDE Sierra MOE for a year. It has performed flawlessly. I've added a Primary Arms 4x Prismatic Scope with ACSS reticle and a Rainier Arms Raptor charging handle. My range goes out to 300 yards and I have no problem consistently hitting 8" plates at that range. At 100 yards, I'm getting sub 1" groups! The build quality is excellent and I like that the mid-length has a little less kick.I highly recommend this rifle!! Was this review helpful to you?

great rifle great value October 9, 2012 Reviewer: joshua nichols from marion, OH United States   i was a bit hesitant when purchasing this rifle due to lower cost. i had friends beating me up trying to get me to spend more on other brands but after doing extensive research i took the plunge and picked up my Sierra and couldnt be happier. the craftsmanship is superb and the Magpul furniture is fantastic. i would rely my life on this rifle and suggest it to anyone looking for an AR. great job and thank you DEL-TON! Fantastic Rifle! I bought TWO!! September 24, 2012 Reviewer: Sgt Lumberjack from Fort Lauderdale, FL United States   I bought two black Sierra 316/MOE rifles from cheaperthandirt.  I was hoping to build a rifle kit with some MOE flare, but DTI has been crazy busy since the Aurora, CO shooting.  When I saw this rifle that is almost how I wanted it anyway, I snatched two of them up!  All I had to do was throw a Magpul MBUS gen 2 rear sight on each one and I had them functional! I will be adding a Grip-Pod and a holosight... maybe a light, but other than that, I wouldn't change a thing!  They each came with a DTI hard case and one 30rd PMag (which is the only AR mag I buy anymore).  Fit and finish is top-notch and operation is smooth as can be.  The receivers fit EXACTLY as they should... I'm talking perfectly matched.  Also, The internals were excellent and I was actually surprised by how smooth the trigger was right out of the box.  I really can't say enough about these rifles... but I'll stop there. I served as a United States Marine Corps Designated Marksman Instructor and I approve this rifle. Was this review helpful to you?

Impressive! June 20, 2012 Reviewer: CR from Bethlehem, PA United States   This being my first AR I didn't want to spend a ton on money and after exhaustive research and reading several reviews, I decided on the Del-Ton Sierra Mid-length in MOE-OD Green.  I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of the rifle and was anxious to get it to the range.  Shot about 80 rounds and was very accurate.  Only problem was one fail to eject (FTE) with cheap steel cased ammo, but the brass cycled just fine.  Overall, very pleased with my purchase and Del-ton does indeed give you the most bang for your buck, you will not be disappointed!  Thank you Del-ton! Great Rifle March 9, 2012 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Lexington, TX United States   Purchased this rifle from a local gun shop after doing some research on Del-Ton products and I couldn't be happier. This is truly a great rifle, everything is staked liked it should be and the bolt is HP/MP tested as well. Took it out too the range after topping it off with a weaver scope and all I can say is WOW. This rifle performed flawlessly and was very accurate. I am picky about break in procedures on a new barrel and after I completed that I started checking accuracy. Wow I never expected the kind of aaccuracy out of it that I got. Was not the perfect day to check accuracy with the wind blowing 15-18 mph but during the calm times I managed to shoot four 5 shot groups at 100 yds and all four groups could be covered with a quarter. This is truly a outstanding rifle, I had no failures and it ran perfect. I would highly recommend this rifle to anyone. Was this review helpful to you?
