Other selections are available for upper, bolt and carrier, charging handle, handguards, flash hiders, and gas blocks.

Everything was in good order out of box.
The trigger is the best milspec trigger I have shot. Very clean break. I have no plans on changing this trigger.
The barrel is front heavy, but manageable, and 1/9 twist is also fine, as I am not looking for a target rifle. I only plan on shooting 55gr. ss109 and 223, and 62gr. xm855 milball, so 'minute of bad guy" is all I am looking for. So far accuracy is pretty good, with the Strikefire 2. I can keep roughly 2.5 MOA groups at 100. Which if you had my eyes, you would be impressed..
So far have about 550 rounds through it, steel and brass, with no failures.

Only real nitpick. the furniture is a little 'cheap feeling", and the A2 grip is a bit smaller than my others. I'll replace them anyway. The fore stocks, while rough, feel sturdier than the grip and stock, so I'll keep it.

I would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone looking for either a beater rifle, or a primary fighting rifle.
