This rifle has a 16" mid-length heavy barrel with 1x9 twist, MagpulŪ MOE Black stock, MagpulŪ MOE Black handguards, MagpulŪ MOE Black Grip and A2 flash hider. The rifle also comes with 1 x 30rd PMag and a CA approved Gun Lock. Shipped with a Chamber Safety Tool in the chamber, showing clearly the weapon is unloaded.
Rifle also comes in Dark Earth and OD Green furniture (buttstock, pistol grip, and handguards).

This rifle is not available in CA, HI, NY, NJ, MD, & MA due to local state guns laws.

5 of 5 Del-Ton Sierra 316 Moe April 4, 2015

Well its been three months since I purchased this rifle. So far I have been able to put 1500+ rounds down range. First parts I installed was a Magpul mbus pro rear sight. Then a magpul angled fore grip 2. With this setup I shot around 750 rounds without a problem. But... Here is the only problem I've had. After I put on an Eotech 512, which had nothing to do with this issue, I started having extraction issues. Long story short(turned out to be the extractor spring). This rifle is is the BEST most accurate out of the box ar I own. Needless to say I am currently stripping my S&W MP15T, again, because this Del-Ton rocked its world. Thank you Del-Ton for making me a believer in the fact a person can get more for what they pay. And to those who read this review. Dont let your buds pressure you into a rifle. My friends that tried to talk me away from this purchase (towards Colt and DPMS) and are jealous my $800 ar is keeping up with their $1800+ custom builds. And $ left over for Eotech.

I've had my FDE Sierra MOE for a year. It has performed flawlessly. I've added a Primary Arms 4x Prismatic Scope with ACSS reticle and a Rainier Arms Raptor charging handle. My range goes out to 300 yards and I have no problem consistently hitting 8" plates at that range. At 100 yards, I'm getting sub 1" groups! The build quality is excellent and I like that the mid-length has a little less kick.I highly recommend this rifle!!

i was a bit hesitant when purchasing this rifle due to lower cost. i had friends beating me up trying to get me to spend more on other brands but after doing extensive research i took the plunge and picked up my Sierra and couldnt be happier. the craftsmanship is superb and the Magpul furniture is fantastic. i would rely my life on this rifle and suggest it to anyone looking for an AR. great job and thank you DEL-TON!

5 of 5 Fantastic Rifle! I bought TWO!! September 24, 2012

I bought two black Sierra 316/MOE rifles from cheaperthandirt.  I was hoping to build a rifle kit with some MOE flare, but DTI has been crazy busy since the Aurora, CO shooting.  When I saw this rifle that is almost how I wanted it anyway, I snatched two of them up!  All I had to do was throw a Magpul MBUS gen 2 rear sight on each one and I had them functional! I will be adding a Grip-Pod and a holosight... maybe a light, but other than that, I wouldn't change a thing!  They each came with a DTI hard case and one 30rd PMag (which is the only AR mag I buy anymore).  Fit and finish is top-notch and operation is smooth as can be.  The receivers fit EXACTLY as they should... I'm talking perfectly matched.  Also, The internals were excellent and I was actually surprised by how smooth the trigger was right out of the box.  I really can't say enough about these rifles... but I'll stop there.

I served as a United States Marine Corps Designated Marksman Instructor and I approve this rifle.

This being my first AR I didn't want to spend a ton on money and after exhaustive research and reading several reviews, I decided on the Del-Ton Sierra Mid-length in MOE-OD Green.  I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of the rifle and was anxious to get it to the range.  Shot about 80 rounds and was very accurate.  Only problem was one fail to eject (FTE) with cheap steel cased ammo, but the brass cycled just fine.  Overall, very pleased with my purchase and Del-ton does indeed give you the most bang for your buck, you will not be disappointed!  Thank you Del-ton!
